Earlier in the year, I wrote a piece on my feelings about writing. At the time, writing was like a chore for me, which made it difficult to actually write to my full potential since I wasn’t enjoying it. Creating a website, however, and working with digital composition sparked a new interest for me and made me start to like writing again.

 

I've always known writing is what you make of it, kind of like everything else in life, but now that means even more to me. Creating each page however I wanted it to be proved that no one can tell you if your style is right or wrong because there is no right or wrong in writing. How can I say such a thing, especially since I'm an engineer, someone who's supposed to be obsessed with right and wrong? Well the world has thousands of great writers and each and every one of them writes differently. So if each writer has a different style, than there can't be one defined genre of "good writers".

 

If I had the time to do so, I would continue writing blog posts or maybe even just little snippets because writing really is a good way to get all of my thoughts out. Many times, while I'm writing, I'm not even sure of my thoughts on a topic until I've finished writing about it and look back at it. At a certain point the words begin to flow and with those words comes an opinion, whether obvious or not.

 

Finishing this website has almost made me sad because I know I'm done with writing now for a while. I hope that someday I won't be as stressed out and busy as I have been for the past four years of my life and will be for the upcoming four years. So until the day comes that I can reopen this website and add another blog post, so long, writing. I'll miss you.
